SECURITY FUNCTION

Automatic SmartLock™

Australia’s only Throttle Controller with an Automatic Lock & Unlock Pedal Immobiliser.

How It Works

When you switch off your vehicle, the iThrottle SmartLock™ automatically immobilises the accelerator pedal. Even if a thief manages to unlock and start your vehicle, they won’t be able to drive it away because the throttle pedal remains securely locked.


As soon as you return to your vehicle with your phone and are within Bluetooth® range, SmartLock™ automatically unlocks the pedal, allowing you to drive away without pressing a button or entering a code.


If your phone battery is flat or Bluetooth is unavailable, you can still unlock the system by entering your secure 3-digit PIN directly on the iThrottle controller.

And exclusive to iThrottle is our Winch Mode – When extra engine RPM is needed during recovery, the iThrottle Winch Mode automatically raises idle speed to reduce the
load on your vehicle’s battery and alternator while winching or using a power drawing 12V air compressor.

SMARTLOCK SECURITY

Automatically locks the throttle pedal when the ignition is switched off and unlocks when your authorised phone comes within Bluetooth® range. Even if the vehicle is started, it cannot be driven until SmartLock™ is released. A secure 3-digit PIN provides backup access if your phone is unavailable.

APP CONTROL

Control driving modes and sensitivity levels directly through the iThrottle App. Make quick adjustments from your phone and switch between driving profiles with ease. Bluetooth connectivity keeps everyday control simple, convenient and ready whenever driving conditions change.

WINCH MODE

Winch Mode automatically raises and maintains your engine RPM to provide consistent charging performance whenever you’re using a winch or a 12V air compressor. By increasing engine speed, the alternator produces more electrical output, helping reduce the load on your vehicle’s battery and ensuring a more stable power supply during high-demand recovery or inflation tasks.

The result is improved winch performance, more efficient operation of 12V air compressors, and a reduced risk of battery voltage dropping during extended use. Maintaining a higher idle speed can also help prevent engine stalling under heavy electrical loads.

For added convenience, Winch Mode can be activated and adjusted directly from the iThrottle app, allowing you to control engine RPM while standing safely outside the vehicle. Whether you’re recovering your vehicle or airing up tyres after a day on the tracks, you can focus on the job at hand without repeatedly climbing in and out of the cabin.
